It's summertime in the northern hemisphere! Time for some to relax, pick up those outdoor hobbies and recreational activities, refresh, and maybe even start to prepare for the coming academic year. This week we are co-hosting the 2nd Annual HyFlex Collaborative Conference online and look forward to seeing many of you there to share your latest research and HyFlex stories with the community.

This newsletter 1) highlights the HyFlex Collaborative Conference in June 2024, 2) summarizes recent HyFlex-related articles "in the news", and 3) highlights three recent HLC blog posts.

Over the last two years Lamar State College Orange has seen substantial growth in and, more importantly, degrees and certificates awarded. Daniel McLemore, director of marketing communications at Lamar State College Orange says, “Everybody has a different way that they like to see classes taught. We want to offer that as much as we possibly can in every modality, each modality that they are expected in. So having that was one of the big things, having the classes be online, in person, and then HyFlex.”

Reminder: HyFlex Course Design Workshop - Now available year-round in asynchronous mode!

In Spring 2024, we launched a fully asynchronous, start-and-finish-anytime workshop that is available whenever you are ready to learn. This workshop meets the same outcomes as the synchronous version but does not include any scheduled online meetings. Because there is no synchronous schedule, you can begin at any time and complete this at your own pace.
