Unleashing Education:
Adopting and Adapting HyFlex for Student Learning
Many institutions, faculty, designers, and students have been offering and experiencing hybrid flexible (HyFlex) learning opportunities for a decade or more, with even more turning to HyFlex during the pandemic for learning continuity. Now, we are planning for more flexible offerings as we reshape the future of education at all levels. In June 2024, we will gather with several hundred educators online (synchronous and asynchronous) for the second annual HyFlex Collaborative Conference. This conference is a collaboration between the HyFlex Learning Community and the Academy for the Advancement of Teaching, Leadership and Schools (AATLAS) at the School of Education, University at Albany, Albany, NY.
The conference will provide a national and international venue to discuss and share strategies for improving student access to high-quality and equitable learning opportunities using in-person, asynchronous, and synchronous learning.
