Our Fall 2022 terms are well underway. What participation patterns are you observing? We see a combination of factors at play in our courses: 1) students are asking for more online sections so they can either avoid commuting or manage their complex lives better, 2) administrators want to bring more and more classes back fully on campus (no flexibility), and 3) many faculty teaching HyFlex are seeing more students online than in person.
What is happening at your school, in your classes? Our next webinar gathering will focus on teaching HyFlex with "unbalanced" modes, reviewing a new concept, Course Awareness, introduced in the HyFlex Learning Community blog in September (linked below).
Next Gathering Scheduled: October 28, 2022 Topic: HyFlex Teaching in Unbalanced Classes
We’ve scheduled our next gathering event (webinar) for October 28, 2022, 12 pm – 1:30 pm PDT (GMT/UTC -7) to discuss teaching challenges and solutions when there is a substantial imbalance among the modes of a HyFlex course.
